Local One Construction was built on the belief that quality, trust, and hard work should be the standard, not the exception. With over 20 years in the industry, I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. What truly matters is showing up, doing the job right, and standing behind our work. I started out as a carpenter just wanting to build, but it’s become so much more than that. It’s about creating something lasting, taking pride in our craft, and being the contractor people can count on. In a world where reliability is hard to find, we make it simple, we do what we say we’re going to do, and we do it well.

As a proud Métis member and co-founder of Local One Construction (LOC), from my early construction years, helping my dad with his drywall and finishing work, contributing to meaningful projects is a lifelong passion. I have had the privilege of supporting communities with their construction needs while actively participating in local events. My goal is to honor my Métis roots in by actively participating in and uplifting my communities. Our company is built on Indigenous partnerships and collaboration, I aim to create a strong bond with the Métis Nation, support community projects, and raise the bar for Indigenous lead construction projects. For me, working with the Métis Nation is more than business, it’s about building lasting relationships and making a meaningful impact and building ties with the Métis community. As LOC, re-enters the Saskatchewan market, partnering with Indigenous communities is our only focus. We look forward to the opportunity to work with the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan.
